Showroom Manager – Modular Kitchens & WardrobesJob OverviewThis person will oversee the day-to-day sales operations of the showroom, which specializes in kitchen fittings, furniture, wardrobes and doors. The role involves a mix of sales, administrative, customer service, and leadership responsibilities, with a strong focus on driving sales and ensuring a high-quality shopping experience for customers.Duties and ResponsibilitiesStore Operations ManagementOversee the daily operation of the store, ensuring that it runs smoothly.Manage the store's opening and closing procedures.Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations.Customer ServiceProvide high-quality customer service by assisting with product inquiries, guiding customers through the decision-making process, and offering expert advice.Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.Ensure the store’s layout and displays are attractive and meet the needs of customers.Maintain a pleasant personality and be a team player who can work effectively with customers and staff.Sales and MarketingMeet or exceed sales targets by actively engaging with customers and promoting products.Design kitchen and wardrobe spaces for showroom displays and customer projects.Work with the Marketing and Design departments to develop and implement promotional activities to drive foot traffic and sales, including sales campaigns and product displays.Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.Inventory and Product Display ManagementMaintain stock levels to ensure popular items are available for customers.Conduct regular inventory checks, track orders, and coordinate restocking as needed.Collaborate with the factory and external vendors to manage orders, deliveries, and stock levels.Collaborate with the Design and Marketing departments to ensure styling and displays are aligned with company brand identity guidelines.Team Leadership and Staff ManagementAssist the HR department with hiring, training, and supervising sales, design, and administrative staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.Organize schedules and ensure the store is adequately staffed during peak hours.Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to employees.Motivate the team to achieve store goals and improve performance.Budget ManagementMonitor and manage the store’s expenses and ensure it operates within budget.Prepare and analyze sales reports and inventory data.Make recommendations for improving profitability and cost-effectiveness.Product KnowledgeStay up to date with trends in kitchen, wardrobe and door design, materials, and customer preferences.Understand the features and benefits of the store’s products, including kitchen appliances, accessories, cabinetry, and wardrobe systems.Education and QualificationsDegree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a Kitchen and Wardrobe Design certification.Minimum 5 years of experience in the home décor or modular furniture industry is required.Retail Management experience in the UAE is a plus.SkillsLeadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.Sales Skills: Ability to drive sales, cross-sell, and upsell effectively.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage inventory, schedules, and finances.Problem-Solving: Capacity to resolve customer complaints and operational challenges efficiently.Product Knowledge: A good understanding of kitchen and wardrobe products, materials, and trends, with a willingness to keep learning.Technology: Proficiency in POS, MS Suite, CRM, and interior design software.Languages: Excellent level of English. Arabic is a clear advantage.
