We design and build cast-stone seating that stays warm — so people can stay outside longer, in more months of the year, in more of the places they already love. Our work is made in San Francisco and sold through our factory showroom, our own retail locations, and partners including Design Within Reach. Our Stanford showroom is where people encounter the product for the first time. Almost nobody has sat in a heated chair before. That first moment does more for us than any advertisement, and this role owns it.About the RoleYou'll run the Stanford showroom. You are responsible for what happens in the space, for the people who work in it, and for the revenue it generates. Most of your day is spent with guests — getting them to sit down, explaining how the product works, and starting a relationship that often takes weeks to become a sale. You will build and manage a pipeline of interested clients, follow up with genuine care, and work closely with our sales team to bring those relationships to close. The rest is running a business: scheduling, opening and closing, merchandising, inventory presentation, monthly sales reporting, and coaching a small part-time team. This is a hands-on role in a 450-square-foot space. There is no back office. What You'll DoOwn the guest experience. Welcome every person who comes in, invite them to sit, and let the product do the work. Answer technical questions with confidence. Share why the company exists.Build and manage a client pipeline. Capture leads accurately, draft quotes, and follow up persistently and warmly over the weeks a purchase decision usually takes. Manage all of it in HubSpot.Partner on the close. Work alongside our sales lead on complex, trade, and multi-unit orders. Coordinate delivery details and make the purchase experience seamless.Run the floor. Open and close, maintain merchandising standards, keep the space beautiful, manage supplies and daily operations.Lead a small team. Schedule and coach 1–2 part-time associates. Set the tone for how guests are treated.Report accurately. Submit monthly sales reporting on time and maintain accurate order tagging. What We're Looking For3+ years in high-end retail, luxury sales, or a design showroom, with a track record of building client relationships that convert over timeGenuine comfort with a long consideration cycle.
