Our customers use these tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.OverviewThe primary purpose of this role is to provide technical application support and engineering expertise for Siemens EDA solutions. The Application Engineer will work closely with customers and internal technical teams to understand engineering requirements, support the adoption and implementation of Siemens EDA products, develop methodologies and workflows, and troubleshoot technical issues.The role requires a strong technical foundation in electronics and an interest in EDA, PCB design, simulation, verification, and engineering workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical application support for Siemens EDA products including PADS, Xpedition, HyperLynx, Valor, and PartQuest.Support customers in adopting and implementing Siemens EDA solutions within their engineering projects and environments.Understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate EDA tools, workflows, and solutions.Develop, configure, and support engineering methodologies and flows based on customer requirements.Assist with infrastructure setup and integration of EDA tools into customer environments.Support pilot projects, technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and tool implementations.Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with debugging and bring-up of new methodologies and workflows.Provide technical demonstrations, presentations, training, and product guidance to customers.Support PCB design, simulation, verification, and related electronic design activities.Work closely with internal technical, engineering, and product teams to resolve customer issues and improve solutions.Develop a strong understanding of customer engineering environments and provide appropriate technical recommendations.Provide technical leadership and support for assigned customer projects and accounts.Stay current with Siemens EDA products, technologies, and industry trends.Share customer feedback, technical findings, product requirements, and competitive information with internal teams.Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management or leadership.Job QualificationsBSEE or BSCS required; MSEE desired.0 to 3 years of experience OR strong technical knowledge of Siemens EDA products, including PADS, Xpedition, HyperLynx, Valor, or PartQuest.Knowledge or experience with at least one of the above Siemens EDA products is preferred; experience with multiple products is a plus.Experience through academic projects, internships, training, or hands-on projects involving Siemens EDA products may be considered.Experience with Mentor Graphics versions/products is also relevant.Basic understanding of electronics, PCB design, simulation, verification, or related engineering concepts.Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, PCB layout, schematic design, or electronics manufacturing is a plus.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective presentation and customer-interaction skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.Strong willingness to learn and develop deep technical expertise in Siemens EDA solutions.Adaptability, dedication, persistence, and a proactive approach to solving technical problems.Project management experience is a plus.Experience with diagnosis-driven yield analysis is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Interested CandidatesPlease send your updated resume and contact details to: praful.salunkey@prolim.comAbout PROLIM CorporationPROLIM is a leading provider of end-to-end IT, PLM, and Engineering Services and Solutions for Global 1000 companies.
