ISS provides certified refurbished equipment that meets or exceeds OEM specifications, along with extended warranties, service contracts, and upgrade options to match diverse imaging equipment needs.Role Description The Siemens MRI CT Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore City County, MD. This role is responsible for performing installation, deinstallation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on Siemens MRI and CT systems, ensuring equipment meets OEM specifications and safety standards. The engineer will complete diagnostic testing, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, coordinate parts ordering and replacement, and document all service activities in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day work includes responding to service calls, supporting equipment upgrades, collaborating with OEM-trained colleagues, and communicating clearly with customers to minimize downtime and optimize system performance. The role may also involve occasional support for logistics such as rigging, crating, and preparation of systems for shipment or trade-in.Qualifications Strong technical skills in servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Siemens MRI and CT systems, including electronics, mechanical components, and system software.Experience with installation, deinstallation, calibration, and performance testing of MRI and CT equipment in clinical or hospital environments.Ability to interpret technical documentation, service manuals, schematics, and OEM guidelines, with attention to detail and accuracy.Knowledge of safety, regulatory, and quality standards relevant to medical imaging equipment (e.g., ISO-based QMS, hospital compliance requirements).Effective communication and customer service skills to work directly with clinical staff, service providers, and internal teams.Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple service requests on-site.Comfort working in a hands-on, field-based environment, including occasional lifting, equipment rigging coordination, and travel within the region.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field, or equivalent military/industry training.Prior experience
