Signalling Lead

Signalling Lead – ETCS Queensland Rail Recruitment Engineering Services (RES) is partnering with Queensland Rail to find an experienced Signalling individual for its embedded ETCS Alliance team in Brisbane. You'll lead signalling engineering capability across the full project lifecycle, from design and renewals through to implementation, testing and commissioning and help deliver ETCS and its integration into the Queensland Rail SEQ network. What you'll do Lead a small team of signal engineers to deliver projects to scope, quality, safety, budget and timeframe Review designs and reports, manage workshops Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to shape signalling strategy Collaborate with key ETCS stakeholders across Queensland Rail to support the ETCS ProgramTo be suitable for the role you will likely have:Strong background in signal design ETCS L1 / L2 preferable, other digital signalling experience such as CBTC will also be consideredKnowledge of Testing & Commissionng / CheckingDelivery of business-focused signalling engineering solutions Experience in coaching and leading multi-disciplinary project teams within a complex regulatory environment Strong stakeholder management experience Extensive knowledge of applying statutory and regulatory standards for safety, environmental and HR obligations in a commercially governed rail environment Excellent commuication Australian working rightsDesirable Experience QR Competencies along with QR network knowledgeETCS L2 (CBTC will also be considered)QualificationsBachelor of Engineering (Electrical) RPEQ or Eligible for RPEQ Interested, or know someone who should be?
