SimCorp Consultant

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior SimCorp Consultant with experience in Investment Management / Asset Management and strong hands-on expertise in SimCorp Dimension. The role involves leading SimCorp implementation, configuration, enhancement, integration, and support activities while working closely with business and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of investment management processes and the ability to independently manage complex SimCorp solutions across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead SimCorp Dimension implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support activities.Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SimCorp solutions.Configure SimCorp Dimension based on business processes and functional requirements.Work across investment management processes including portfolio management, trading, securities, corporate actions, cash management, investment accounting, performance, and reporting.Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate SimCorp solutions.Support integrations and interfaces between SimCorp Dimension and external systems, custodians, market data providers, and downstream applications.Lead solution design, impact analysis, testing, deployment, and post-production support.Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect analysis, and production implementation activities.Troubleshoot complex functional and system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.Support SimCorp upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and system optimization initiatives.Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, vendors, and technology teams to ensure successful delivery.Provide functional guidance and technical support to junior consultants and team members.Act as a SimCorp SME and key point of contact for business and technology stakeholders.Maintain functional and technical documentation related to configurations, processes, integrations, and support activities.Identify opportunities to improve SimCorp processes, system performance, automation, and operational efficiency.Role Requirements and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.10+ years of experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, Financial Services, or related technology domains.Strong hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension.Strong experience in SimCorp implementation, configuration, customization, enhancement, and production support.Good understanding of front-to-back investment management processes.Strong knowledge of portfolio management, trading, securities, corporate actions, cash management, investment accounting, performance, and reporting.Experience with SimCorp integrations, interfaces, data mapping, and external applications.Experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis, solution design, testing, implementation, and support.Good understanding of SQL, databases, data flows, and integration concepts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to independently manage complex SimCorp projects and work with global onsite/offshore teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on large-scale SimCorp Dimension implementation or transformation programs.Experience with SimCorp upgrades, migrations, and version enhancements.Exposure to market data platforms, custodians, accounting systems, and other investment management applications.Knowledge of NAV, reconciliation, performance measurement, and regulatory reporting.Experience working with global Asset Management / Investment Management clients.Experience leading or mentoring SimCorp consultants and delivery teams.Agile/Scrum delivery experience is an advantage.
