They're looking for a Simulation Engineer with strong multiphase and CFD-DEM experience to build high-fidelity models that feed directly into machine learning tools.The roleBuild complex multiphysics models end to end, from geometry and meshing to validationDevelop DEM models of particle systems, such as fluidised beds, conveying and millingAutomate simulation and parametric CAD workflows for optimisation and DoE studiesGenerate simulation datasets to train ML surrogate modelsWork closely with customers, including on-site, and present results and recommendationsMentor junior engineersYou'll bringDeep expertise in multiphase CFDDEM experience (EDEM, Rocky, LIGGGHTS or similar), including coupled CFD–DEMProficiency in Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM or FluentPython scripting and simulation automationA degree in mechanical, chemical or process engineering (MEng, MSc or PhD)Strong communication skillsNice to have: reacting flows, NX or CATIA, surrogate modelling, HPCThe role includes regular international travel to customer sites.Interested?
