قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and assessing simulation-based education for multidisciplinary audiences. In addition, this position is responsible for teaching, mentoring, monitoring, and assessing new faculty to simulation-based education. These services include, but are not limited to, collaboration with stakeholders to help determine needs assessment & analysis, curriculum design, course instruction and evaluationPRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES COLLEGIALITY AND LEADERSHIP Establishes collegial partnerships Shares knowledge and skills with peers and colleagues Provides leadership in the professional practice and professional development settings Responsible for completing charge capture education and in-service training for their Institute within CCAD. When charges are not captured automatically the nurse will complete within Epic in real time, Perioperative Services within 24 business hours COORDINATION OF LEARNING & PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT Conducts educational needs assessments and gap analysis - Analyses issues, trends and supporting data to determine eductional needs. Partners with content experts to design simulation-based education Designs, implements, monitors, and evaluates learning and assessment simulations to multidisciplinary teams Documents courses according to the standards of the CCAD-MSC & Facilitates debriefing sessions Maintains and updates course curricula Provides training, monitoring, and evaluation to faculty new to simulation-based education Assists in day-to-day operations of the Simulation Center - Applies current theory and research findings to simulation education -promotions a positive leanring and practice environment. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTUses research to guide practice decisions, contributing to the development of lifelong learning of self and others. Assists in research activities TECHNICAL SKILLS Coordinates preparation of simulators and other equipment for conducting simulation Assists in operating the simulators and provide direction to the Simulation Technician Maintain appropriate simulation equipment with assistance of the Simulation Technician Assist in the training of simulation users in operation of patient simulators, audio-visual equipment, and maintenance Data capture and entry for simulation courses QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, or an equivalent qualification of NLT 3 years study duration from an accredited program is required 1 year as an educator is required Minimum of six (6) years post-qualification in an appropriate and relevant healthcare setting. Experience in the assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation of clinical simulation training and education Strong understanding of the process for clinical simulation methodology Proficient in existing and emerging high fidelity simulation technologies and clinical applications Ability to operate human patient simulators and related equipment used in simulated learning experiences Knowledge in simulation-based curriculum development and scenario design Experience with audio/visual production equipment a plus Experience as a Clinical Educator preferred Experience in working with different types of medical equipment preferred
