Site Engineer – Architectural Fit-Out

We deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget, driven by a strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and teamwork.Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Architectural Site Engineer with strong experience in interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all architectural site activities, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage daily architectural fit-out activities on-site, including partitions, gypsum ceilings, flooring, tiling, painting, joinery, doors, glazing, and finishing works.Ensure all site activities comply with approved shop drawings, material submittals, specifications, and project requirements.Coordinate with the Project Manager, MEP engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.Review architectural drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues before and during execution.Monitor site progress and ensure that work is completed according to the approved project schedule.Manage subcontractors and site workers to ensure productivity, workmanship, and timely completion.Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards and approved materials.Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, manpower records, and site photographs.Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team and ensure materials are available according to the project schedule.Identify site issues, propose practical solutions, and escalate technical or scheduling concerns to the Project Manager.Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients and ensure timely closure of comments and snags.Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and housekeeping requirements on-site.Monitor quantities and report any additional works, variations, or discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions.Ensure proper documentation of site instructions, RFIs, inspections, and other project-related records.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural site supervision, preferably in interior fit-out and commercial projects.Excellent English communication skills are mandatory, both written and spoken.Strong knowledge of architectural finishing materials, construction methods, and fit-out execution.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; familiarity with project scheduling tools is an advantage.Strong coordination, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills.Ability to manage subcontractors, control site activities, and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.Detail-oriented, proactive, accountable, and committed to quality workmanship.Key Performance ExpectationsAchieve planned daily and weekly site progress.Maintain high-quality execution and minimize rework.Ensure timely coordination of materials, subcontractors, and inspections.Provide accurate and timely daily site reports.Close snags and consultant comments within agreed deadlines.Maintain effective communication with the Project Manager and all project stakeholders.
