Site Foreman – Gypsum Ceiling & Wall PaintingJob SummaryThe Site Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating gypsum ceiling, drywall partition, wall painting, and finishing works at construction sites. The role ensures that all activities are completed according to project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily gypsum ceiling, drywall partition, and wall painting activities on site.Allocate tasks and manage site workers, subcontractors, and skilled labor.Read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and quality standards.Monitor progress and report daily work status to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.Coordinate with other trades to avoid work conflicts and maintain project schedules.Inspect materials delivered to the site and ensure proper storage and handling.Prepare material requests and monitor material consumption.Ensure correct installation of metal framing, gypsum boards, ceiling systems, joint treatment, skim coating, primer, and final paint finishes.Conduct regular quality inspections and rectify defects before consultant inspections.Enforce site safety rules and ensure workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain daily manpower, equipment, and work progress records.Attend site coordination meetings when required.Resolve day-to-day site issues and communicate effectively with engineers, consultants, and clients.Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and ready for inspection and handover.QualificationsDiploma or Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Site Foreman in gypsum ceiling, drywall partition, and painting works.Good knowledge of gypsum ceiling systems, drywall installation, plastering, skim coating, and painting techniques.Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications.Strong leadership and team management skills.Good communication and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with construction safety standards and site procedures.SkillsSite supervisionGypsum ceiling installationDrywall partition systemsWall painting and finishingQuality controlMaterial planningWorkforce managementTime managementCoordination with contractorsOccupational health and safety complianceWorking ConditionsPrimarily based on construction sites.May require overtime, weekend work, or shift work to meet project deadlines.Work involves standing, walking, climbing, and supervising outdoor and indoor construction activities.Driving License: Must Valid UAE driving licenseJob Type: Full-time
