🚢CAPITAL GAS SHIP MANAGEMENT CORP. is a leading ship management company specializing in the management of Gas Carriers, operating a modern and continuously expanding fleet. As part of our long-term growth strategy and ongoing fleet expansion, we are strengthening our New Building Team and invite experienced professionals to apply for the position of Site Manager.The successful candidate will act as the Owner's representative at the Shipyard throughout construction, commissioning, testing and delivery.Location: Based in Athens initially, relocating to China for the construction phaseReports to: Project Manager ⚙Key ResponsibilitiesAthens phase-support plan approval and pre-construction:▸reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation, and coordinating with Class, Flag and relevant Makers on technical mattersChina phase -represent the Owner at the shipyard: ▸monitoring construction quality, schedule and compliance, following up defects and inspections and testing, and reporting progress through to final delivery of the vessel ✔What we are looking for:- Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering- 6+ years of relevant experience in shipbuilding, newbuilding or ship management- Proven shipyard supervision and vessel construction experience- Strong communication and coordination skills-Willingness to relocate to China for the construction phase- LNG / LPG or other gas carrier experience is a strong advantage-Very good knowledge of written and spoken English 🚀If you are seeking a dynamic working environment in the shipping management industry and meet the above qualifications, please submit your CV at hr@capitalgas.gr.
