The project is being developed by ENGIE and its consortium partners under the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC) Battery Energy Storage Program. The Al Khushaybi BESS facility has a capacity of 500 MW with 4 hours of storage duration(2,000MWh). As Owner's Engineer, Tractebel is responsible for providing independent technical oversight and assurance throughout the project lifecycle, including design review, engineering management, technology assessment, construction supervision, testing and commissioning support, and verification of compliance with contractual, regulatory, and international technical standards.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the project schedule ensuring timely progress. Monitor contractor schedule updates and validate reported project progress. Identify critical path activities and highlight potential schedule delays. Prepare weekly and monthly schedule performance reports for Owner. Conduct schedule risk assessments and propose effective mitigation measures. Review contractor recovery plans and evaluate schedule improvement feasibility. Coordinate discipline interfaces to maintain consistent project execution sequencing. Analyze change impacts and support delay claim evaluations. Validate look-ahead schedules ensuring alignment with baseline programme. Track manpower and equipment resources against planned project curves.EducationMandatoryBachelor’s degree & certification in Scheduling & planningMust Have Substation & BESS related Experience in KSA Preferred☑Relevant professional certification related to the role/discipline☑Professional membership or accreditation, where applicable☑ Experience with BESS project is preferable
