Site Supervisor (Fit-Out Manufacturing)

Job PurposeTo supervise and coordinate on-site fit-out installation activities, ensuring that all works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules. The role involves coordinating with factory production teams, project engineers, subcontractors, and site management to ensure smooth execution of fit-out works.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily site activities related to interior fit-out, joinery, and installation works.Ensure that all site activities are carried out according to approved shop drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.Coordinate with the factory production team to ensure timely delivery of manufactured items, materials, and equipment to project sites.Monitor installation works, including partitions, ceilings, wall panels, doors, cabinetry, wardrobes, and other interior finishes.Allocate tasks to site workers, carpenters, installers, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient manpower utilization.Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule and deadlines.Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC teams, and other stakeholders to resolve site-related issues.Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and client expectations.Identify site discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.Ensure materials are properly handled, stored, and utilized to minimize wastage and damage.Enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements at the project site.Prepare daily progress reports and report any delays, technical issues, or manpower requirements to the management.Attend site coordination meetings and support inspections, snagging, and handover activities.Ensure that workers comply with company policies, project procedures, and safety requirements.Qualifications and RequirementsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 5–8 years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery installation, or related construction activities.Relevant UAE or GCC experience is preferred, particularly in fit-out projects.Strong knowledge of interior fit-out materials, installation methods, shop drawings, and finishing works.Experience supervising carpenters, installers, technicians, and subcontractors.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Good knowledge of site safety practices and quality control procedures.Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under tight deadlines.
