SITE SUPERVISOR-Interior Fit-Out & Construction

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Site Supervisor to manage interior fit-out and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry and joinery, strong site supervision skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders to ensure quality, safety, productivity, and timely project completion.Mandatory RequirementsMinimum 7 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out and construction, including site supervision.Valid UAE driving licence.Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification.Proven experience supervising carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons, painters, HVAC technicians, and general labourers.Strong experience coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and workshop teams.Candidates with substantial carpentry and joinery supervision experience will be highly preferred.Technical CompetenciesRead and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and joinery drawings, specifications, and BOQs.Strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery fabrication and installation, including:KitchensWardrobesDoorsCabinetryWall panellingCeilingsBespoke furnitureGood understanding of timber, plywood, MDF, veneers, laminates, finishes, adhesives, fittings, and hardware.Verify site measurements, setting-out, levels, alignment, tolerances, fixing methods, and finishing quality.Coordinate partitions, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, and MEP works with joinery installations.Identify drawing discrepancies, site clashes, defects, and technical issues and obtain approved solutions before execution.Prepare material take-offs, manpower requirements, work sequences, and realistic project schedules.Implement site safety procedures, inspection protocols, and quality-control checklists.Proficiency in MS Excel, email, reporting, scheduling tools, and AutoCAD or similar drawing-review software.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and supervise daily site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, budgets, and project deadlines.Develop effective project execution strategies, site procedures, and work methodologies.Allocate manpower, tools, and equipment and monitor productivity, attendance, and workmanship.Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, and workshop teams to ensure timely material deliveries and installation.Maintain professional communication with clients and consultants and coordinate inspections and approvals.Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, material requests, labour records, and snag lists.Monitor variations and additional works and obtain management approval before execution.Control material wastage, minimise rework, and ensure proper snag rectification.Maintain site records and support complete project handover and close-out documentation.Ensure all works are executed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.Essential SkillsStrong leadership and team-management abilities.Practical problem-solving and technical decision-making skills.Clear communication and professional client-handling skills.Strong coordination and disciplined follow-up.Ability to manage multiple trades and site activities simultaneously.Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and construction processes, particularly carpentry and joinery.
