Job Description – Skin PractitionerPosition: Skin PractitionerDepartment: Aesthetics / Skin CareLocation: UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimeReporting To: Clinic Manager / Medical DirectorAbout the RoleWe are looking for a passionate, skilled, and client-focused Skin Practitioner to join our aesthetic dermatology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in professional skincare, facial treatments, chemical peels, laser-based skin treatments, and other non-invasive aesthetic procedures.The Skin Practitioner will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and personalized skin treatments while maintaining high standards of client care, hygiene, treatment protocols, and service excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed client consultations and skin assessments to understand individual skin concerns and treatment requirements.Recommend appropriate skin treatments and home-care routines within the practitioner's approved scope of practice.Perform professional facial and advanced skincare treatments safely and effectively.Perform approved chemical peels and other professional exfoliation treatments according to clinic protocols.Operate approved aesthetic and laser equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, clinic protocols, and UAE regulatory requirements.Provide treatments for acne, acne scars, pigmentation, uneven skin tone, skin texture, dehydration, signs of ageing, and general skin rejuvenation.Maintain accurate client consultation, treatment, consent, and progress records.Explain treatment procedures, expected outcomes, aftercare, contraindications, and potential side effects clearly to clients.Follow all infection-control, sterilization, safety, and hygiene procedures.Identify contraindications or conditions requiring medical assessment and appropriately refer clients to the dermatologist/medical team.Monitor client response during and after treatments and escalate any adverse reactions promptly.Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, consumables, and skincare products to the required standards.Educate clients on suitable skincare products and post-treatment care.Build strong client relationships and contribute to client retention and satisfaction.Work collaboratively with dermatologists, nurses, therapists, reception, and clinic management.Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a high standard of personal presentation at all times.Qualifications & LicensingDiploma / Degree / Certification in Aesthetics, Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, Skin Therapy, Dermatology-related studies, or a relevant field.Valid UAE professional healthcare/aesthetic license or eligibility to obtain the relevant UAE license is mandatory.Candidate must hold the appropriate license/registration for the scope of practice and treatments being performed.Experience working in a UAE-licensed dermatology clinic, aesthetic clinic, medical spa, or similar healthcare/aesthetic environment is preferred.Strong knowledge of professional skincare treatments, aesthetic procedures, contraindications, treatment protocols, and post-treatment care.Relevant certifications for laser, chemical peels, or other aesthetic procedures will be an advantage.ExperiencePreferred: 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Skin Therapist, Skin Practitioner, Aesthetic Therapist, Laser Therapist, or similar role.Candidates with hands-on experience in laser treatments, chemical peels, advanced facials, acne management, pigmentation treatments, and skin rejuvenation will be highly preferred.Key SkillsStrong skin assessment and consultation skillsAdvanced facial and skincare treatment expertiseChemical peel experienceLaser/aesthetic device experienceKnowledge of different skin types and conditionsExcellent client communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailHigh standards of hygiene and patient safetyProfessional appearance and conductCustomer-focused and results-oriented approachAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environmentStrong teamwork and collaborationEthical approach to treatment and product recommendationsIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a UAE-licensed or UAE-license-eligible Skin Practitioner with strong hands-on experience in aesthetic skincare treatments.
