Patients reach us two ways: referred to us by healthcare providers or directly through our own digital channels.Sleep apnea is one of the most under-treated conditions in the country, and adherence is the reason. We build devices people keep wearing, and we build the support around them that makes that happen.About the roleMost people come to us because they, or their partner, want the snoring to stop. Many don't realize that snoring can be a sign of obstructive sleep apnea, or that a longer-term treatment exists. The Sleep Coach / Patient Manager is the person who has that conversation. You help patients understand what may be happening while they sleep, arrange a home sleep test where one is needed, and guide them into the right care with the right provider so they get the sleep they deserve.Your caseload comes from two places: patients who have purchased a device or a sleep test from us directly, and patients referred to us by our partnered healthcare providers. Wherever they start, the job is the same — keep them moving forward and make sure nobody gives up along the way. This is a consultative patient-facing role, not a call center seat. You are the voice patients trust at the moment they decide whether to treat their sleep apnea or let it slide for another year. What you'll do• Manage a caseload of referred and direct patients from first contact through to the start of treatment, and stay with them as they settle into it• Identify patients who have never been properly diagnosed, explain why testing matters, and guide them through a home sleep test and their results• Run scheduled patient consultations by phone and video — reviewing sleep study results, explaining what the findings mean in plain language, and building a treatment plan around the patient’s symptoms, provider recommendations and things that matter to the individual• Educate patients on oral appliance therapy: how it works, what to expect, what good adherence looks like, and how it compares to their alternatives• Progress patients to a treatment decision on the call where appropriate, or into a structured follow-up sequence where more time is needed• Coordinate handovers to partnered dental practices, and follow through to confirm the patient was seen and the case moved forward• Support patients already in treatment, working alongside their provider where needed• Work proactive outreach lists: patients who have not completed their test, patients placed with a provider who have not moved, and patients who dropped out of the pathway• Keep every interaction documented in our CRM and clinical record systems, including call notes, consent and next steps• Feed patterns back to the team — objections you keep hearing, gaps in our materials, points where patients get stuck• Hit monthly targets for consultations completed, patients progressed to treatment, and patient satisfactionWhat we're looking forRequired• 2+ years in a patient-facing healthcare role — sleep, dental, respiratory, DME, cardiology, primary care or a comparable clinical setting• Direct experience talking to patients about a treatment decision, not just scheduling or administration• Confident explaining clinical information to a lay audience without oversimplifying or overwhelming• Strong phone presence and written communication across email and SMS• Comfortable with targets and being measured on patient progression, and motivated by the bonus attached to it• Working knowledge of a CRM or practice management system, and the discipline to keep records clean• Based in the Dallas area, able to work from our office five days a week, and available for occasional travel• Able to work US business hours across Eastern, Central and Pacific time zones• High ownership: you chase the loose end rather than closing the ticketStrongly preferred• Experience in sleep medicine — sleep lab, sleep clinic, home sleep apnea testing, CPAP or PAP therapy coordination, or oral appliance therapy• Credentials such as RPSGT, CCSH, RRT, RDA, CDA, LVN/LPN or a certified sleep technologist or medical assistant background• Familiarity with reading and discussing home sleep test reports — AHI, ODI, oxygen desaturation, hypoxic burden and REM-related events• Understanding of PAP intolerance and why patients abandon therapy• Dental practice experience, particularly with appliance fitting, impressions or scans• Exposure to insurance verification, benefits checks or cash-pay conversations in a healthcare setting• Experience in a direct-to-consumer healthcare or telehealth environmentWhat makes this role different• The outcome is real. Untreated sleep apnea drives hypertension, cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and daytime accidents. The patients you convert to treatment measurably reduce that risk.• You see the whole journey. You stay with a patient from first conversation through to treatment, rather than handling one step and passing them on.• Clinical depth without the ceiling. This is a rare role where healthcare experience is the asset and commercial performance is rewarded.• Early-stage US market. We are building the US patient management function now. You will help write the scripts, the objection handling and the pathway that the next hires inherit.• Clear progression. As the US caseload grows, this role is the natural step into senior patient management and team leadership.Compensation and benefits• Performance bonus tied to patients progressed to treatment and patient satisfaction• Full benefits package• Paid time off and holidays• Product and clinical training in sleep medicine and oral appliance therapy• Direct line to the leadership team building the US businessHow to applySend your resume to hr@goodsleepco.health and a short note on the patient population you have worked with and the treatment conversations you have run.
