Applicants can expect a systematic work environment with well-defined roles and responsibilities.Role Description The Sleeving Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah. This role is responsible for operating sleeving machinery to apply sleeves or labels to products according to production specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and adjusting machines, monitoring production runs, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring proper alignment and application of sleeves. The Sleeving Operator will also perform basic equipment checks, follow safety procedures, record production data, and coordinate with supervisors and coworkers to meet daily targets. The role requires adherence to company policies, cleanliness of the work area, and collaboration with the production team to support continuous workflow.Qualifications Experience operating production or packaging machinery, preferably sleeving or labeling equipment, and ability to follow standard operating procedures.Basic mechanical aptitude for minor adjustments, troubleshooting simple issues, and performing routine equipment checks.Attention to detail for accurate sleeve placement, quality inspection, and identification of product defects or inconsistencies.Strong awareness of workplace safety practices, including safe machine operation, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to safety guidelines.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, stand for extended periods, and meet daily production targets.Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors, and follow written and verbal instructions.Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging operations is preferred; vocational or technical training in a related field is an advantage.Willingness to work in shifts if required, demonstrate reliability, and maintain a professional and cooperative attitude.
