The Ark Animal Clinic is hiring an experienced small animal veterinarian in Dubai. Five day working week, and a caseload that gives you time to work each case properly rather than pushing patients through the door.About usThe Ark Animal Clinic has provided companion animal care for over a decade, with two branches in Dubai and international branches beyond. That standard shapes how we treat patients, how we deal with clients and how we work with each other.The roleYou will manage a varied caseload across general practice, internal medicine and surgery. Depending on the shift you may work alongside a second veterinarian or be the sole vet on the floor with nursing support, so we are looking for someone confident working independently.You will:Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures to a high standardManage a mixed medical and surgical small animal caseloadExplain diagnoses, treatment plans and aftercare clearly and kindlyKeep accurate, complete records in ezyVetUphold infection control, patient safety and clinical governanceWork across either Dubai branch as operational needs requireTake part in CPD and continuous clinical developmentWhat we are looking forEssential:DVM, BVSc or equivalentMinimum 5 years of post graduate small animal clinical experience, in line with MOCCAE licensing requirementsValid MOCCAE licence, or clear eligibility to obtain oneCompetent and independent in routine and soft tissue surgerySound diagnostic reasoning and clinical judgementFluent written and spoken EnglishAdvantageous:Emergency and critical care experienceConfidence with digital radiography and ultrasoundExperience across a broad mixed caseloadA developing interest in medicine or a surgical areaWhat we offerAED 12,000 to 20,000 per month depending on experience, inclusive of allowances, plus performance commissionFive day working weekSupport for continuing professional developmentMOCCAE licensing fees coveredRelocation support for candidates joining from overseasMedical insurance in line with UAE regulations30 calendar days annual leaveLong term career growth in an expanding veterinary groupHow to applyApply through LinkedIn, or send your CV to uae.hr@theark.ae with the subject line "Veterinarian, Dubai".
