As part of an ongoing investment in cybersecurity and digital transformation, they are looking to add a Cybersecurity Analyst - SOC to their growing security team.Your New RoleAs a Cybersecurity Analyst - SOC, you will play a key role in protecting the organization's technology infrastructure by monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across on-premises and cloud environments. You will contribute to the organization's cybersecurity strategy and governance while working closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams.Your responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts, performing threat detection and analysis, investigating incidents, conducting threat hunting activities, tuning and managing SIEM solutions, and producing technical incident reports. You will analyze security logs from various systems including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS, anti-spam platforms, Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.You will also participate in security tool administration, develop cybersecurity standards and best practices, support security awareness initiatives, advise development teams on secure coding practices, and provide Level II support for security incidents. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work across a broad range of cybersecurity domains within a mature and evolving security environment.What You'll Need to SucceedDegree or Diploma in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.2-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a similar IT security role.Hands-on experience working within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, security monitoring, alert management, and detection engineering.Experience with security technologies including Firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS, and Anti-Spam solutions.Good understanding of Active Directory, AD security, Microsoft 365, and related Microsoft technologies.Strong ability to analyze security logs and investigate threats across Windows, Linux, Unix, cloud, network, and endpoint environments.Experience with threat detection, threat hunting, incident response, and forensic investigations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to work independently while collaborating within a cross-functional team environment.CISSP certification is considered a strong asset.Ability to participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.What You'll Get in ReturnYou will have the opportunity to join a growing cybersecurity team and work on enterprise-scale security initiatives that directly impact business operations.
