As the business continues to expand its security operations capabilities, they are looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead and develop their Security Operations function.Job DescriptionThe SOC Manager will lead a team of security professionals responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to cyber threats across customer environments. This is a hands-on leadership position, combining team management with oversight of day-to-day SOC operations, incident response, and the continued development of security processes and capabilities. The successful candidate will help improve detection and response effectiveness, mentor and develop the SOC team, and work closely with wider security and engineering functions to strengthen operational performance. This role will also play an important part in responding to emerging threats and ensuring the SOC continues to evolve alongside the changing cybersecurity landscape.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop a team of SOC analysts and security professionalsOversee security monitoring, alert triage, investigation, incident response, and escalationDrive improvements across SOC processes, detection capabilities, and operational efficiencySupport the investigation and response to complex or high-severity security incidentsPartner with Security, Engineering, and wider technical teams to strengthen the organization's cyber defense capabilitiesQualifications & Experience8+ years of experience across SOC operations, cybersecurity, incident response, or a related discipline5+ years of experience leading or managing security operations teamsStrong experience with SIEM, EDR, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security monitoring technologiesStrong understanding of incident response methodologies and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CKProven ability to lead technical teams while remaining hands-on with security operations
