Kantipur Television is seeking Social Media Interns to join our digital desk.As part of Nepal’s premier news network, our digital team transforms real-time reporting, investigative journalism, and cultural reporting into compelling audio-visual narratives across emerging platforms. We are looking for sharp editorial minds who combine a rigorous interest in current affairs with a deep understanding of visual storytelling.Key Responsibilities- Translate broadcast reporting and breaking news into concise visual formats, including short-form video, graphics, and interactive stories.- Collaborate with journalists and editors to pitch original, digital-first coverage on national and global affairs.- Analyze platform trends and audience engagement metrics to optimize story distribution.- Assist in maintaining editorial consistency across primary visual and social channels.QualificationsTechnical Proficiency: Basic skills in non-linear video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut) and graphic design (Photoshop, Canva, or Illustrator).Subject-Matter Knowledge: A demonstrated passion for politics, culture, and public interest journalism.Platform Intuition: Familiarity with social video dynamics, pacing, visual hierarchy, and digital storytelling conventions.Language: Professional fluency in written and spoken Nepali and English is preferred.Application ProcessPlease submit your resume, a brief cover note, and 2–3 examples of your work (video edits, graphics, or social campaigns) to careers@kantipurmediagroup.com with the subject line "Application: Social Media Intern – [Your Name]".
