Instead of hoping you can resell something later, you can see demand before you check out.Since our early beta we raised a $3 million seed round led by Serena Ventures and are building the team that will turn presale into a category.You’ll be TRACE’s first full-time social hire.Your job is to create content people want to watch, build a community people want to participate in, and turn social attention into marketplace activity.What you’ll buildYou’ll own TRACE’s organic presence across TikTok and Instagram.This is a hands-on role. You’ll take ideas from concept through filming, editing, writing, publishing, and learning from what happens next. You should want to make the work yourself—not just manage a calendar or an agency.You will:Create original short-form content for TikTok and InstagramMake presale understandable within seconds without overexplaining itTurn products, prices, shopping decisions, user behavior, and cultural moments into compelling storiesBuild recurring formats and a voice people recognize as TRACETurn comments and DMs into relationships, content ideas, and product insightCollaborate with founders and creators on concepts, content, and productionTrack what drives signups, listings, bids, referrals, and creator interestSocial at TRACE isn’t just a brand channel. It’s part of how we find the right users, understand shopping behavior, surface product demand, and build the marketplace.You’ll work closely with both founders and have a meaningful role in shaping how TRACE enters culture.This might be youYou’ve personally made excellent social content and can show us the workYou understand TikTok and Instagram as cultures, not just distribution channelsYou can take a rough idea through concepting, filming, editing, writing, and publishingYou’re deeply interested in fashion, shopping behavior, creators, and internet cultureYou have strong creative judgment and can move quickly without losing the detailsYou’re curious about performance data and willing to change your approach based on what you learnYou’re comfortable working closely with founders in an early-stage environmentYou’ll typically have 2–4 years of relevant experience across social media, content creation, community, or brand marketing.
