Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Title: Social Media ManagerDepartment: Marketing & CreativeReports To: Creative DirectorEmployment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewThe Social Media Manager owns the day-to-day management and creative output of the DUKE + DEXTER social channels - primarily Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.Crucially, this is not solely a channel-management role. The core of the job is creating social-first content that performs across both organic and paid social. They will be hands-on from idea to final edit, producing UGC-driven content that shows product in detail, demonstrates how it can be styled and gives an authentic view inside the brand. The ideal candidate has exceptional taste and content skills, lives and breathes social and can turn any product, person or moment into a compelling short-form story - without losing D+D's identity.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial-First Content Creation· Personally concept, shoot, edit and publish high-quality short-form video and still content.· Create native content for Reels, TikTok, Stories and YouTube Shorts, tailoring each edit by channel.· Create teasers, launch content and follow-up assets for every new product drop.· Use strong hooks, pacing, captions, sound and storytelling to improve engagement.· Direct colleagues, models & creators. And appear on camera when it strengthens the idea.Channel Management & Growth· Own daily planning, scheduling and publishing across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.· Grow reach, engagement, follower quality and traffic through testing and optimisation.· Protect D+D's brand voice and visual identity, while building our active community.Product Storytelling & UGC· Produce UGC-style unboxings, try-ons, styling, on-foot and how-to-wear videos.· Show fit, scale, materials, construction, colour, movement and styling versatility.· Build repeatable formats around launches, core icons, outfits, comparisons and FAQs.Paid Social Creative· Work closely with the paid media team to create and edit UGC imagery and video content suitable for paid social formats.· Create multiple hooks, edits, formats, captions and calls to action for testing.· Use performance data to iterate quickly, refresh fatigue and scale winning ideas.Brand Access & Behind-the-Scenes· Capture activations, shoots, pop-ups, factory trips, partnerships and travel.· Plan key shots in advance, while capturing spontaneous moments as they happen.· Film confidently on location and independently in fast-moving environments.Planning, Performance & Collaboration· Own a content calendar aligned with launches, campaigns, collaborations and retail.· Review organic and paid performance weekly and turn insights into new content.· Collaborate across Creative, Brand, E-commerce, Performance, Product and PR.Required Qualifications· 2+ years' hands-on social or content experience, ideally in fashion or lifestyle.· An exceptional portfolio of current, platform-native short-form video.· Strong Iphone/camera shooting and CapCut or Premiere Pro editing skills.· Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube trends and best practice.· A strong eye for fashion, styling, product detail and visual storytelling.· Clear understanding of how creative needs differ across organic and paid social.· Highly organised, self-starting and comfortable producing at pace.· Confident behind or in front of the camera, and directing others.Preferred Qualifications· Experience within a contemporary, luxury or DTC fashion brand.· Experience creating performance creative alongside a paid social team.· Evidence of building an audience or a distinctive creator-led social presence.· Strong photography, lighting, sound recording and colour-grading skills.· Experience capturing events, shoots, factory visits and international travel.Key Competencies· Social instinct and trend awareness· Exceptional content creation and editing· Brand sensitivity and product storytelling· Speed, initiative and resourcefulness· Commercial and performance mindset· Clear collaboration and communicationcareers@dukeanddexter.com
