Apply & track with Apply EdgeSoftware & AI Engineer InternInternship Job DescriptionRole SummaryThe Software & AI Engineer Intern will contribute to software systems that transform industrial data intoapplications, analytics, diagnostics, predictions, and actionable engineering information.Key Responsibilities
- Build or improve frontend features and user interfaces under guidance.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and application logic for assigned modules.
- Work with PostgreSQL, time-series data, caching, and basic data pipelines as required.
- Support ingestion and processing of real-time and historical industrial data.
- Write clean, modular code and basic unit/integration tests.
- Use Git and participate in normal development, review, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Assist with Docker, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and cloud deployment tasks where applicable.
- Build dashboards, metrics, analytics, or data-processing features for industrial applications.
- Contribute to ML/AI tasks such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, time-series analysis, RAG, orLLM workflows depending on project requirements.
- Document APIs, modules, workflows, and important implementation decisions.Preferred Knowledge
- Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript
- React/Next.js or similar frontend fundamentals
- Node.js/NestJS or similar backend fundamentals
- SQL and database basics
- Git and software-engineering fundamentals
