Its platform automates parcel sorting and order fulfillment, helping e-commerce, retail, and logistics companies improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency.Job Description The core mission of the role: Lead the architecture and scalability of the software platform powering intelligent robotic warehouse systems.What you'd actually be doing:Architecting Scalable Distributed Platforms: Designing and scaling distributed platforms that can effortlessly support rapidly growing fleets of robots. Real-Time Fleet Orchestration: Designing real-time fleet orchestration and intelligent task allocation systems so robots can route efficiently without bottlenecks. Ensuring High Reliability & Uptime: Guaranteeing 99.9%+ system uptime through fault-tolerant architecture that prevents system crashes if a component fails.Telemetry & Monitoring: Building telemetry ingestion and real-time data processing capabilities to track and monitor robotic fleets live.Simulation & Testing: Establishing simulation frameworks for throughput testing and production validation before deploying code to real-world warehouses. Technical Leadership & Review: Leading architectural reviews and development of senior technical leaders within the engineering organization. Business Alignment: Aligning engineering architecture with product requirements and customer success goals. What good looks like:Design & Scale: You successfully architect platforms capable of supporting rapidly expanding fleets with 99.9%+ uptime. Real-Time Control: Real-time fleet orchestration and telemetry pipelines run smoothly and reliably. Leadership: Senior engineers look to you for guidance, and engineering goals completely match product and business requirements. What we're looking for Required:12+ years in software engineering/platform architecture. 5+ years leading engineering teams. Deep expertise in distributed systems, fault-tolerant production systems, and cloud platforms. * Strong experience with real-time systems and scalable fleet orchestration. Experience with telemetry ingestion and real-time data processing.
