Software Delivery ManagerWe are looking for an experienced Software Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex software and cloud-based solutions. This role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and people management.You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, architects, product stakeholders, and business leaders to ensure projects are delivered with high quality, predictability, and transparency.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end delivery of software development and cloud transformation projects.Define delivery plans, milestones, resource requirements, dependencies, and success criteria.Coordinate with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.Track project progress, budgets, risks, issues, and delivery metrics.Identify delivery risks early and drive timely mitigation and resolution.Maintain clear and transparent communication with customers and internal leadership.Lead project governance meetings, sprint reviews, status reviews, and executive updates.Translate customer requirements and business objectives into actionable delivery plans.Ensure engineering teams follow appropriate development, testing, security, and release practices.Manage scope changes while protecting delivery quality and commercial objectives.Support team planning, performance management, mentoring, and capability development.Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to deliver additional business value.Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools, and engineering practices.Required Experience and Skills8+ years of experience in the software or technology industry.At least 3 years of experience managing software delivery, engineering projects, or technical programs.Proven experience delivering software development projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, release management, and quality assurance.Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong project planning, risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Experience managing customer expectations, escalations, and delivery commitments.Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams without relying solely on formal authority.Preferred QualificationsExperience delivering cloud-native, data, AI/ML, application modernization, or digital transformation projects.Understanding of modern engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, APIs, microservices, and automated testing.Experience working with distributed or geographically diverse engineering teams.Project management or Agile certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or SAFe.Previous experience in a customer-facing technology consulting or software services environment.What Success Looks LikeProjects are delivered predictably, with strong quality and stakeholder confidence.Risks and dependencies are identified and addressed before they affect delivery.Customers receive clear, honest, and timely communication.Engineering teams have well-defined priorities and the support needed to succeed.Delivery processes continuously improve as the organisation grows.Why Join Us?You will have the opportunity to lead meaningful technology initiatives, work with experienced engineering teams, and help shape our delivery practices as we scale.
