Software Developer (AI-Assisted)

OverviewWe're looking for a software developer who is fluent in using AI coding tools as part of their core workflow — someone who builds, debugs, and ships software faster and better by working alongside AI, not just writing everything manually. You'll work primarily in Python, deploying and managing infrastructure on DigitalOcean.What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain software features using a mix of traditional coding and AI-assisted developmentUse AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate development, debugging, and testingWrite clean, maintainable Python code, whether self-written or AI-assistedDeploy, manage, and monitor applications on DigitalOcean (Droplets, App Platform, Managed Databases, etc.)Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance before deploymentBuild scripts, tools, or small applications to automate internal workflows where usefulCollaborate with the team on architecture and technical decisionsWhat We NeedSolid programming fundamentals — able to write, read, and debug code independently, not just prompt AI blindlyStrong proficiency in PythonHands-on experience deploying and managing applications on DigitalOcean (or similar cloud platforms like AWS/GCP with willingness to work in DO specifically)Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in real projects (not just casual use)Understanding of version control (Git), basic software architecture, and testing practicesAbility to evaluate and correct AI output — you're accountable for what ships, regardless of who/what wrote it firstNice to HaveExperience with web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)Background in automation, scripting, or building internal toolsFamiliarity with prompt engineering for coding tasksExperience with CI/CD pipelines on DigitalOceanHow to ApplyInterested candidates may apply by sending their CV and portfolio previously managed.Please mention “Software Developer (AI-Assisted) - Remote” in your application.careers@paradoxagency.me
