Company DescriptionAI20 Global Alliance is a global platform connecting AI leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, technology talent, investors, organizations, researchers, and policymakers to advance meaningful collaboration and responsible AI innovation.Based in Abu Dhabi, AI20 is building an international ecosystem that connects intelligence, technology, opportunities, projects, people, and institutions across borders.In collaboration with Bedaya Incubator, AI20 is launching AI20 × Bedaya BuildX — a competitive technology initiative designed to discover exceptional developers and emerging technology talent capable of contributing to the next generation of the AI20 digital ecosystem.Role: Software Developer – AI20 × Bedaya BuildXThis opportunity is part of a competitive global developer challenge, through which up to 10 outstanding developers will be selected.Selected participants will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, technical capabilities, prototypes, and solutions toward the evolution of AI20 from a global website into an intelligent, interconnected digital platform.We are looking for developers who can not only code — but think, challenge assumptions, innovate, and go the extra mile.Potential areas of contribution include:- WordPress and modern web development- Next.js / React- Back-end systems and APIs- AI integrations and intelligent automation- Advanced search and smart matching- Data architecture and interconnected profiles- Personalized recommendations- Dashboards and member experiences- Performance, security and scalability- Innovative features that we haven't thought of yetThe ChallengeCandidates are encouraged to explore AI20.Global, understand the current platform, and demonstrate how they would improve or extend it.We want to understand:What would you improve?What would you build next?What can you create that would make AI20 different?Technical ability matters — but so do creativity, problem-solving, initiative, and the ability to turn ideas into working solutions.Qualifications- Strong software development and problem-solving capabilities- Experience with one or more modern programming languages or frameworks- Understanding of modern web architecture, APIs and databases- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development- Interest in AI integration, automation and emerging technologies- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment- Portfolio, GitHub profile, prototypes or demonstrated projects are highly valued- Formal qualifications are welcome but practical capability and demonstrated talent matter moreImportant Participation NoteAI20 × Bedaya BuildX is a competitive, voluntary and unpaid technology challenge/contributor opportunity, not a guaranteed paid employment position.Up to 10 developers will be selected based on technical capability, creativity, contribution and alignment with the initiative.Outstanding participants may also be considered for future Win-Win collaboration, project-based opportunities, technology initiatives, incubation pathways, or other forms of engagement as the AI20 and Bedaya ecosystems develop.
