Software Developer (Full-Stack Web)Ideas Marketing · Colombo, Sri Lanka · Full-time, on-site · 3 to 4 years experience About the role Ideas Marketing is an Australian marketing agency with a Colombo-based creative and digital team. We design and build websites and digital experiences for a growing roster of Australian clients across property, professional services, technology and care sectors. We are looking for a capable full-stack web developer to own the technical side of our builds. You will take approved designs and prototypes through to fast, reliable, live websites, working closely with our UX and Web Lead and the wider creative team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building properly and wants real ownership of how our client sites are delivered. What you will do - Build and maintain WordPress websites for clients, from custom themes through to plugins and integrations. - Develop modern front-end applications in React and Vite, taking design prototypes through to production. - Take prototypes from tools such as Lovable and turn them into clean, maintainable production code. - Deploy and manage applications on Cloudways using Git deployment or SFTP, including routing, environment variables and basic server configuration. - Integrate third-party services such as Stripe for payments, HubSpot for CRM, Klaviyo for email and Supabase for backend data. - Manage domains and DNS through Cloudflare. - Test, QA and optimise builds for speed, security, accessibility and cross-browser performance. - Support clean client handovers and handle post-launch fixes and updates. - Coordinate with our external development partner when a project needs extra capacity. What you need - Around 3 to 4 years of professional experience in full-stack web development. - Strong WordPress development, comfortable in PHP and building custom rather than relying only on page builders. - Solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with real, hands-on React experience. - Experience with Git based deployment and managed hosting such as Cloudways. - A good eye for detail and a commitment to building fast, secure, accessible sites. - Clear communication and the ability to work closely with a design-led team. Nice to have - Experience with Vite and modern build tooling. - Familiarity with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms. - Exposure to Stripe, HubSpot or Klaviyo integrations. - An interest in AI-assisted development workflows. Why Ideas Marketing - Real ownership of the technical side of our builds. - A close, collaborative creative and digital team. - Paid in AUDs - Room to grow as we scale our in-house development capability. Apply Send your CV and a few links to work you have built to mark@ideasmarketing.com.au.
