Role DescriptionWe are seeking an innovative, analytical, and technically proficient Software Development professional to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and digital solutions. The successful candidate will transform business requirements into reliable technology products while contributing to application architecture, coding, testing, integration, performance optimization, and continuous improvement. This role works closely with product managers, software engineers, UX/UI designers, QA specialists, DevOps teams, cybersecurity professionals, data teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.Key responsibilities include analyzing functional and technical requirements and translating them into practical software solutions; designing application architectures, APIs, databases, services, and system integrations; developing clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient software components; building web applications, mobile applications, backend services, enterprise platforms, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions; conducting code reviews, debugging defects, resolving technical issues, and improving application performance; developing automated unit, integration, regression, functional, and performance tests; collaborating with QA teams to identify and resolve software defects; integrating third-party APIs, cloud services, databases, authentication systems, payment platforms, and external applications; applying secure coding practices, access controls, encryption, data protection, and application security principles; working with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, containerization, infrastructure automation, monitoring, logging, and observability; utilizing version control systems and collaborative development platforms to manage source code and development workflows; supporting application modernization, migration, scalability, integration, and system enhancement initiatives; leveraging artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, AI-assisted coding, automation, and intelligent testing technologies to improve development efficiency; preparing technical documentation, system specifications, API documentation, architecture diagrams, and release notes; monitoring production systems and analyzing application performance, availability, reliability, and user behavior; participating in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other software delivery methodologies; supporting production incident investigation and root cause analysis; and continuously evaluating emerging technologies, development frameworks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity practices, and software architecture approaches.The Software Development professional is expected to combine strong technical knowledge with creativity, logical thinking, and effective problem-solving abilities. Success in this role requires attention to detail, collaboration, communication, adaptability, and a strong commitment to software quality and technological innovation.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, APIs, and system architecture.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, PHP, Ruby, Swift, Kotlin, or similar technologies.Familiarity with modern frameworks and development platforms such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, .NET, Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI, Laravel, or equivalent technologies.Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar platforms.Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, message queues, and cloud-native development.Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or comparable version control systems.Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated deployment, monitoring, and observability.Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or other cloud computing environments.Strong understanding of software testing, debugging, performance optimization, application security, secure coding, and quality assurance.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.Strong written, verbal, technical documentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple development tasks and technical priorities.High level of professionalism, adaptability, attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to software quality.Knowledge of artificial intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), generative AI, machine learning, and AI-assisted development is advantageous.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and modern software delivery practices is beneficial.Knowledge of DevSecOps, application security, identity management, cloud security, and automated security testing is advantageous.Professional certifications in software development, cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, or related technologies are considered advantageous but are not mandatory.Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about emerging programming technologies, AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, automation, software frameworks, and global software engineering practices.
