About the roleIndia built saving discipline long before smartphones. Chit funds, gold schemes at the family jeweller, collectors at the shop door every evening. Those systems built saving habits for crores of Indians. We are rebuilding that discipline digitally, for the ten crore Indians.Our user is getting their first daily usable finance app for savings, on a budget device and a patchy network. When the app stutters, they do not file a bug. They uninstall and go back to cash. Building for them is a harder engineering problem than building for users who forgive.You will own the mobile app end to end. You take a feature from development to testing to build to a live release on both stores, yourself. There is no release team behind you, and that is the point. In two years here you will have shipped more than most engineers do in five at a large company.What you will doDevelop and maintain the app in React Native across Android and iOS, with React.js for web surfaces where needed.Build responsive, reusable UI components that hold up on low-end devices.Integrate REST APIs, Firebase, and third-party services; handle state management, authentication, push notifications, and deep linking.Monitor crashes through Firebase Crashlytics, debug from the trace, and optimize for performance and stability.Manage Android and iOS builds end to end: signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, and release configurations using Android Studio, Xcode, Gradle, and CocoaPods.Deploy to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and own app launches and releases.Work directly with product, design, backend, and QA; follow Git workflows and participate in code reviews.Must have1+ years of hands-on production experience with React Native or React.js.Strong JavaScript or TypeScript.Experience integrating REST APIs and Firebase, including Crashlytics.Hands-on experience generating and deploying Android and iOS builds.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and a solid grasp of Git workflows.Proof of work.
