If you love robots, hate inefficiency, and want to build solutions that run on real factory floors — read on.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data components for syncOS's integration platformImplement integration modules in Python and C++ using REST APIs, Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, Websockets, CAN, and TCP/IPContribute to sync templates and integration frameworks for machine-to-machine and machine-to-software integrationsWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code; participate in code reviews and follow established engineering standards. Build and extend integrations for AMRs, AGVs, fleet managers, Warehouse Management Systems, and sensor OEM platformsDiagnose and resolve backend, API, protocol, and data-flow issues during development and deploymentAdd automated tests, logging, monitoring, and technical documentation to improve system reliabilityWork with senior engineers, QA, Customer Success, and deployment teams to execute clearly scoped deliverablesSupport deployment validation and customer-site troubleshooting, and close issues through root-cause follow-upRequirementsEssentials:1-3 years of backend software engineering experience, with strong hands-on proficiency in Python and working knowledge of C++Experience building, testing, and debugging backend services, REST APIs, or data-driven applicationsHands-on experience or strong familiarity with Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, Websockets, CAN, and TCP/IPGood understanding of backend fundamentals, API design, networking, data handling, automated testing, and debuggingExposure to integrating robotics or automation equipment such as AMRs or AGVs with fleet-management or orchestration softwareHighly Desirable:Experience integrating Warehouse Management Systems or sensor OEM platformsWorking proficiency in Golang alongside Python and C++BenefitsCompetitive salaryComprehensive health benefits packageHustle of a young startup, always something to do and something to improveOpportunities for professional development and growth into management rolesCollaborative and inclusive work environment
