You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver impactful features while contributing to the technical growth of the team. As an SDE-2, you will take ownership of key modules, participate in system design discussions, mentor junior engineers, and help drive engineering excellence through high-quality code and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services.Own features and modules end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring.Build secure, reliable, and high-performance systems capable of handling large-scale trafficCollaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver product requirements.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.Participate in system design and architecture discussions.Review code, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high engineering standards.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.Mentor and support junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.Contribute to improving development processes, testing practices, and deployment workflows.Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and incident management.Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.2–4 years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development practices.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.Solid understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization.Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with microservices architecture.Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or similar technologies.Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.What Success Looks LikeDeliver high-quality features with minimal supervision.Take ownership of critical modules and services.Consistently improve code quality, reliability, and system performance.Actively contribute to design discussions and technical decision-making.Support the growth of junior engineers through mentorship and collaboration.
