Software Development Engineer II (SDE-II) — Full-StackxAverage Technologies builds AI voice-conversation platforms. We're a small, bootstrapped, early-stage engineering team based in Bengaluru.We're looking for an SDE-II to help us build and own our core product, working closely with the founding team on the day-to-day technical work.What you'll do:

• Design, build, and own full-stack features end-to-end — from architecture through deployment and debugging in production.
• Work with data layers — databases, schema, queries, performance.
• Integrate with the AI/LLM systems behind our product.
• SQA for your own code – own the responsibility of testing and integration of your own code.What we're looking for:
• 03 – 05 years of hands-on full-stack experience, with real ownership of features in production.
• Strong fundamentals in TypeScript / JavaScript — comfortable across frontend (Next.js / React) and backend (Node.js / Python).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar), query performance and optimizations.
• Comfortable working with AI / LLM APIs with understanding of memory management and Agentic AI, or confident in picking that up quickly.
• Comfortable in a small team, startup culture, wearing more than one hat.Good to have:
• Experience with implementing voice AI, speech pipelines, or real-time systems (WebRTC) is a genuine plus for what we're building.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Redis, Docker and Python.
