This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience building production-oriented AI software.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Software Development Engineer Intern who is curious about AI, enjoys building software, and wants to learn how modern intelligent applications are designed and engineered.You will contribute to real product development across areas such as:Full-stack software developmentAI/LLM-powered applicationsBackend services, APIs, and databasesData and knowledge processingAI agents and intelligent workflowsEvaluation and reliability of AI systemsCloud-based application developmentTesting, debugging, and improving production softwareThe exact projects and responsibilities will evolve as the company and products grow.What We Look ForStrong programming fundamentals and problem-solving abilityGood understanding of data structures and algorithmsExperience with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, or similarFamiliarity with web development, APIs, databases, or software engineering projectsGenuine interest in AI and emerging technologiesAbility to learn independently and work in a fast-moving environmentStrong ownership, curiosity, and attention to engineering qualityGood communication and willingness to ask questions and learnPrior experience with LLMs, AI applications, cloud platforms, Git, React, Node.js, Python, or PostgreSQL is a plus, but not required.Internship Structure — GraduatesThe internship is for 6 months. Candidates who have completed their studies are expected to work 40 hours per week throughout the internship.Internship Structure — Current StudentsPhase 1 Part-Time: 15–20 hours/weekFlexible scheduling designed to accommodate college classes, assignments, and examinations.Phase 2 Full-Time: 40 hours/weekTransition to a full-time internship schedule, with reasonable consideration for the candidate’s final-semester academic and project requirements, where applicable.StipendA stipend will be provided throughout the internship and will be based on the applicable part-time or full-time engagement.Opportunity for Full-Time EmploymentThe internship is designed to provide an opportunity to grow with Pactorize.
