Our platform uses AI to help rights holders, broadcasters, and content teams identify, create, and distribute the moments that matter instantly and at scale.We are passionate about the intersection of sports, media, and technology, and are looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team and help bring our vision to life.Job Description:We are looking for a Software Engineer I (Full Stack) with 2–3 years of experience building and maintaining production software systems.You will work across our frontend and backend applications and help develop products that process and deliver video at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work closely with our Lead Software Engineer and founding team, take ownership of meaningful product features, and contribute across the development lifecycle, from implementation and testing through deployment and production support.This role is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys solving challenging engineering problems, wants significant ownership early in their career, and is excited by the opportunity to build at the intersection of AI, video, and sports.What You’ll Do:Design, build, and maintain frontend and backend components of our web application using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.Own product features from implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.Build and maintain APIs and services supporting video processing, content management, user workflows, and data handling.Integrate AI and machine learning services into production product workflows.Help build reliable, high-performance video ingestion, processing, streaming, and encoding workflows.Work with real-time and high-throughput systems that process live and recorded video.Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and services on GCP.Monitor production systems, investigate issues, and troubleshoot problems across the stack.Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.Contribute to CI/CD, testing, observability, and engineering best practices.Collaborate closely with engineers, founders, and product stakeholders to translate product requirements into reliable software.Take real ownership of what you build and proactively identify opportunities to improve our product and engineering systems.What We’re Looking For:2–3 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining production systems.Strong fundamentals in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and React.Experience building both frontend and backend applications in a production environment.Experience with cloud infrastructure and services, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or an equivalent platform such as AWS or Azure.Strong understanding of APIs, databases, authentication, and modern web application architecture.Experience deploying, monitoring, and debugging production software.Solid debugging instincts and the ability to reason through production issues under pressure.Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team where you are expected to take meaningful ownership of what you build.Familiarity with Python and an interest in working with AI/ML-powered applications.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly.An interest in sports, media, AI, or video technology.Nice to Have:Experience with FFmpeg or other video/media processing tools.Experience with real-time or high-throughput data pipelines.Familiarity with video streaming protocols such as RTMP, SRT, HLS, or DASH.Experience with Docker and containerized applications.Experience with serverless or microservices architectures.Familiarity with authentication and authorization systems such as OAuth, JWT, or SSO.Experience integrating AI/ML models or APIs into production applications.Familiarity with computer vision, multimodal AI, or video understanding systems.Experience working at an early-stage startup.What We Offer:The opportunity to build cutting-edge AI and video products used in professional sports and media.Meaningful ownership of production systems and product features from day one.The chance to work closely with an experienced founding and engineering team in an early-stage startup environment.Significant learning opportunities across full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, AI, and video technology.Potential for rapid career growth as the company and engineering team scale.Competitive salary and equity.Opportunity for domestic and international travel.
