This position is designed to provide recent graduates and individuals with limited professional experience with the opportunity to develop technical skills and gain hands-on experience in software development.The role involves working closely with senior engineers and team members, actively participating in software development activities, and contributing to the overall product delivery process. The primary objective is to build a strong foundation in software engineering principles, programming languages, development methodologies, and modern engineering practices.The Software Engineer (Apprentice) will collaborate with the team to understand business and technical requirements, design and implement software solutions, perform testing and debugging activities, and continuously enhance their technical capabilities. This role provides an excellent platform for individuals looking to establish and grow a successful career in software engineering.Key AccountabilitiesProgramming & Software DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications under the guidance of senior engineers.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.Collaborate with team members during solution design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.Assist in documenting technical solutions, architecture decisions, and development processes.Learn and apply software development methodologies, frameworks, and tools.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.Use version control systems such as Git for source code management and collaboration.Support the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business and customer requirements.Skills & ExperienceEducationBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.Knowledge of at least one programming language such as: C#JavaPythonJavaScriptor a similar modern programming language.Basic understanding of databases and SQL.Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.Understanding Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Awareness of software testing concepts and quality assurance practices.Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
