Software Engineer (Back-End Development)

Job description Job Summary:Gakk Media (BD) Limited is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sr. Software Engineer (Back-End Development) to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in server-side programming, a strong understanding of scalable system architecture, and a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that power high-performance applications serving millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement back-end services and APIs using .NET and C#.Work with databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to design and optimize data models and complex queries.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end components.Implement best practices in coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.Maintain and optimize the performance of the platform.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand business needs and technical requirements.Work under pressure to meet deadlines while ensuring the quality of deliverables.

Requirements

Education:Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field. Experience:2-3 years of experience in back-end development.Experience in the Telecommunication or IT-Enabled Services industry is preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Microservice Architecture, and Design Patterns.Professional experience in C#, .NET, and .NET Web API.Hands-on experience with Dapper, LINQ, ADO.Net, and Async Programming.Proficiency in SQL Server including writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, joins, and views.Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Understanding of testing methods, debugging processes, and code optimization techniques.
