The team is small, around 10 people, and has secured over $15M in funding.About the roleYou’ll be instrumental in building the backend infrastructure behind the company's real-time trading platform. This role requires strong command of asynchronous programming, systems knowledge, and a performance-driven mindset. You'll work in a high-bandwidth, collaborative in-person environment.What You’ll DoBuild and maintain risk and liquidation engines to manage risk and improve capital efficiency in volatile markets.Design and implement blockchain state machines that power trading, settlement, and risk operations.Develop services that maintain consistent state across asynchronous processes using voting, consensus, and coordination mechanisms.Process live market data and coordinate actions across trading venues, managing WebSocket streams and time-sensitive workflows.Build high-performance REST and WebSocket APIs that power the trading interface with millisecond-level response times.Why This Role Is CompellingWork on cutting-edge blockchain execution environments and distributed systems.Tackle high-throughput event streams in a fast-paced market.Join a small, dynamic team with significant funding and growth potential.The Ideal Candidate2-4 years of experience in backend systems engineering.Proficiency in Rust and experience with asynchronous programming.Familiarity with distributed systems and blockchain technologies.Experience with REST and WebSocket APIs, and Docker.Thrives in a collaborative, in-person work environment.Next steps1.
