Stealth Neoservices Firm | Software Engineer | London | Competitive Salary (£80-90K + Stock OptionsAbout the Company:Our partner is an early-stage, well-funded technology company building a new category of services business.Founded by a team with backgrounds across leading enterprise technology, high-growth SaaS, venture capital and product-led companies, the business is taking a different approach to how traditional service companies operate, scale and distribute their offering.They are building what they describe as a Neoservices firm, combining software, operational transformation and deep service delivery expertise to modernise established service businesses from the inside out.Company highlights include:$12m pre-seed roundFounding team with deep enterprise, SaaS and venture experienceBacked by angels from leading AI, developer tooling and deep technology companiesGreenfield build, with the first engineers shaping the platform from the ground upMinimal product built so far, but clear product-market fit signalsAcquired a trusted technology services provider to act as its first operating platform and customer zeroImmediate access to 150+ end-customers and visibility into significant customer P&LAbout the Role:We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the early team and help build the company’s core platform from scratch.This is a high-ownership role for an engineer who wants to work closely with the founders, shape early technical decisions and build software around real operational problems.The company has acquired a trusted technology services provider as its first operating platform, giving the engineering team direct access to real workflows, real customers and real business problems from day one.What You’ll Work On:Build the first version of the company’s core platform and internal tools.Work across the stack, from product features to backend systems and data workflows.Turn real operational problems into simple, useful software.Work closely with founders, operators and customers to understand what needs to be built.Help shape early architecture, engineering standards and product direction.Explore how automation, AI and data can improve how traditional service businesses operate.Ideal Background and Experience3-5 years software engineering experience in a startup, scaleup or high-ownership technical environment.Full-stack or backend-leaning background preferred.Experience building products or systems from an early stage.Strong product instincts and an interest in solving real business problems.Comfortable working across ambiguous, fast-changing environments.Experience with internal tools, workflow automation, data-heavy products, AI-enabled products, enterprise software or SaaS would be valuable.Comfortable working closely with founders and non-technical teams.Personal Profile:Product-minded and practicalHigh ownership and comfortable moving quicklyExcited by greenfield buildingCurious about how businesses operateStrong communicatorLow-ego, collaborative and hands-onMotivated by building something from zero to oneCompensationCompetitive salary (£80-90K).Stock options.Competitive benefits package.
