Senior Software Developer (TypeScript / AWS / PHP)📍 Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid)💰 €5,500 – €7,500 per month + benefitsAn international technology team based in Helsinki is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their growing engineering function. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern TypeScript and AWS cloud technologies, while also contributing to the maintenance and gradual modernisation of legacy PHP systems.The Role:The Senior Developer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and DevOps, to deliver high-quality software solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript (Node.js)Design and implement scalable cloud solutions on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.)Maintain and refactor legacy PHP applications, supporting modernisation effortsContribute to system architecture and technical decision-makingMentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practicesRequirements:Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript, particularly on the backendHands-on experience with AWS cloud servicesExperience working with or maintaining PHP-based systemsSolid understanding of APIs, microservices, and distributed systemsAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile environmentNice to Have:Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, AWS CDK)Exposure to modern frontend frameworksExperience in legacy system migration or modernisation projectsReach out to g.heron@tenthrevolution.com to learn more!
