This role is for one of our clientsLocation: San Francisco, California, USSalary Range: $150,000 – $250,000 (Base)RequirementsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will design, build, and scale high-quality software systems that power core products and services. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused solutions.This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems, building systems from the ground up, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript) Experience building scalable backend services, APIs, or distributed systems Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) Experience with modern software development practices including Git, CI/CD, and automated testing Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environmentPreferred Qualifications Experience building products from early-stage development through scale Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Experience working with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React) Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL systems Interest in emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, or large-scale data systemsBenefitsCompensation & Benefits Base Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) Competitive equity or bonus opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Generous paid time off and holidays Professional development and learning opportunities Collaborative and innovative work environment in San Francisco, California
