Software Engineer

The team is driven by a mission to align the product with the aspirations, lifestyle, and digital habits of young investors.Backend Engineer (Rust)Experience: 4+ years of software engineering, including 2+ years of production Rustdevelopment. Trading experience is highly preferable.We are building and improvising a high-performance, low-latency trading platform and arelooking for an experienced backend engineer to build scalable, reliable, and concurrent backendsystems.Responsibilities● Design and develop high-performance backend services primarily in Rust.● Build asynchronous, event-driven systems with a strong focus on performance andscalability.● Design scalable distributed systems for real-time market data and trading.● Optimise applications for latency, throughput, CPU, and memory efficiency.● Design APIs and internal communication layers.● Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams.● Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews.Required Skills● 2+ years of hands-on production Rust experience.● Deep expertise in Rust language features with the ability to write idiomatic,performant, and production-grade Rust code.● Experience with Go-lang is preferred.● Strong expertise in async programming, concurrency, channels, synchronisationprimitives, and multithreading.● Strong understanding of distributed systems, system design, scalability, caching, faulttolerance, and high availability.● In-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with strong hands-on experience inPostgreSQL.● Strong understanding of networking and communication protocols● Excellent debugging, performance tuning skills in Linux.● Strong communication and collaboration skills.Good to Have● Experience with ClickHouse or other analytical databases.● Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.● Experience building trading, fintech, or other low-latency backend platforms.● Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
