Finding clothes you actually love has become work.At VYLN, we're building something different. We’re building a 60-minute fashion delivery app launching in Bangalore with personalized features to show you exactly how clothes look on your body before you buy them and to recommend fits based on what’s already in your closet. Our first warehouse opens in weeks. We're looking for a mid-level software engineer to help build the systems that make that possible. You'll work directly with a senior engineer who will mentor you on architecture and own production services. This is a full-time, in person role in Bangalore. What you'll build:You'll work across the core platform that powers VYLN:- FastAPI backend services for orders, catalogue, inventory, users, and fulfillment.- Real-time routing that decides whether an order ships from our warehouse or a partner brand store per order, invisibly to the customer.- Redis for inventory state, caching, sessions, rate limiting, and geospatial rider/store matching.- RabbitMQ powering asynchronous workflows including dispatch, notifications, try-on render jobs, and future AI pipelines- Applications used by customers, warehouse staff, and delivery partners.- Monitoring, logging, and alerting that keeps the platform reliable and catches stalled orders before the 60-minute clock runs out.- As VYLN grows, you'll also work on the infrastructure behind our recommendation systems, and wardrobe intelligence features. What we're looking for- 3-5 years professional software engineering experience, with software you've shipped to production for real users.- Strong FastAPI or Flutter skills, and the ability to pick up the rest of the stack quickly.- A working understanding of async systems, i.e queues, caching, real-time state.- Experience with SQL databases and backend APIs.Confidence debugging production systems using logs, metrics, and monitoring.- A strong sense of ownership and care that inventory is correct, orders don't disappear, and customers get what they expect.Bonus points if you've worked with:- Consumer products, e-commerce, or logistics platforms.- Recommendation systems or ML infrastructure.- AWS/GCP, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines. You'll build systems at the intersection of consumer software, real-time logistics, and AI. The problems are varied, and your work ships to production quickly. You’ll get a strong monthly salary + very competitive stock options for this role.Send your CV and anything you've built (GitHub, personal projects, previous products, anything that shows how you think and engineer) to vivaansheth5@gmail.com and we'll schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates on a first come first serve basis over the next week.VYLN
