Team members contribute to products that help users securely manage sensitive information while improving efficiency and digital safety.Role Overview:We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our development team in Pune. In this role, your primary focus will be on developing, enhancing, and maintaining our core suite of applications using Flutter. You will be responsible for building clean UIs, integrating APIs, writing robust test suites, and optimizing performance.In addition to your primary Flutter responsibilities, you will assist in maintaining and debugging our legacy applications across iOS, macOS, Android, Windows, and Web platforms, which are built on tech stacks from 10–12 years ago. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to deepen their cross-platform engineering skills while receiving dedicated mentorship and support to master legacy systems.Key Responsibilities: Flutter Development: Build, enhance, and deploy high-quality mobile, desktop and web applications using Flutter and Dart.API Integration: Connect applications to RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party data sources.Testing & Quality: Develop and execute comprehensive unit, widget, and integration test suites to ensure application stability.Performance & Debugging: Profile, optimize, and debug app performance, memory usage, and UI rendering speeds.Legacy Maintenance: Perform minor bug fixes and routine maintenance on legacy native applications (iOS, macOS, Android, Windows) with the guidance of senior team members.Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering manager, software engineers, quality engineers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver clean user experiences.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience: 1–3 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on mobile applications.Flutter & Dart: Proven hands-on experience building apps using the Flutter framework and Dart language.Networking: Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, JSON parsing, and state management solutions, such as Provider, Bloc, and Riverpod.Testing Mindset: Experience writing automated unit and integration tests.Tooling: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and standard debugging tools (Flutter DevTools, Xcode, Android Studio).Adaptability: A strong willingness to learn, explore, and work with older, legacy codebases, such as Objective-C, Java, and C#/.NET, with provided team support.Work Authorization & Presence: Must be located in or willing to relocate to Pune and be able to work from our Pune office at least 2 days a weekNice-to-Have Skills:Basic understanding of native build tools (Gradle, CocoaPods).Familiarity with App Store Connect and Google Play Console deployment processes.Previous exposure to desktop application development (Windows/macOS).Familiarity with agentic AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enhance development productivity.Location:Pune, India (Hybrid role: minimum of 2 days per week in-office)Candidates available to join immediately will be given priority.
