Its products integrate with leading accounting systems such as SAP and Tally, as well as major banksRole Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Mumbai. ONLY MUMBAI CANDIDATES MAY APPLYThe Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs that power Setlmint’s financial operations platform. Responsibilities includeImplementing scalable and secure server-side logic, integrating with third-party accounting and banking systems, and optimizing application performance. Collaborating with product managers, data specialists, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, as well as writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews. Improve development processes, contribute to system architecture decisions, and troubleshoot production issues to ensure reliable platform performance.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, with experience building and maintaining server-side applications and APIs.Solid Programming skills and hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), RESTful services, and integration with third-party systems such as accounting platforms or banking APIs.Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, and CI/CD practices.Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
