Software EngineerThe Engineering Excellence ForumLocation: IndiaExperience: 0–3 YearsFunction: Technology & EngineeringAbout the RoleThe Engineering Excellence Forum is looking for a Software Engineer to join our technology team and contribute to building reliable, scalable and user-focused digital solutions.The role involves working across the software development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and developing features to testing, deployment and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test and maintain software applicationsBuild clean, reusable and maintainable codeDevelop and integrate APIs and backend servicesWork with databases and application dataIdentify and resolve technical issues and bugsParticipate in code reviews and technical discussionsImprove application performance, reliability and scalabilityCollaborate with internal teams to translate requirements into technical solutionsMaintain technical documentationFollow software engineering best practices for development, testing and deploymentSkills RequiredStrong understanding of programming fundamentalsKnowledge of JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js or similar technologiesUnderstanding of data structures and algorithmsFamiliarity with REST APIs and databasesKnowledge of Git and version controlBasic understanding of cloud and modern application architectureStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to learn new technologiesGood to HaveReact / Next.js or similar frontend frameworksNode.js / Python or similar backend technologiesSQL and NoSQL databasesAWS / Azure / Google CloudCI/CD and DevOps fundamentalsExposure to AI-assisted development toolsWho Should ApplyWe are looking for engineers who are curious, execution-oriented and passionate about building technology.Fresh graduates and early-career engineers with strong fundamentals, personal projects, internships or open-source contributions are encouraged to apply.QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.Build.
