Backend EngineerIn-Office Gurugram, Haryana, IndiaBackend Engineer – Gurgaon | Full TimeOnly immediate joiners or serving notice candidates will be preferred.Only Product based companies background will be considered.Any internship or training experience will not be considered as a full-time experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Contribute to building high-availability, fault-tolerant systems that support core e-commerce business operations. Enhance system observability and debuggability through monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing tools such as Grafana, Loki, and Pinpoint. Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code reliability and production readiness. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code aligned with software engineering best practices. Continuously optimize backend applications for performance, scalability, and uptime. Participate actively in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture planning. Monitor live production environments, troubleshoot critical issues, and proactively improve system health. Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to support seamless deployment and CI/CD automation. Required Skills & Experience1–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java (8/11/17). Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms. Solid expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and JPA/Hibernate. Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases; exposure to NoSQL databases is an added advantage. Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous processing. Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Pinpoint, or equivalent. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices Architecture. Working knowledge of messaging systems including Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ. Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD workflows. Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Strong communication abilities with a collaborative and ownership-driven mindset.
