That means combining production software with hardware, sensors, networking and real-time data.This isn't a narrowly defined embedded position.Depending on your strengths, you could be building real-time and low-latency systems, backend services, hardware interfaces, data pipelines or applications used by operators.The common thread is ownership. They want engineers who can take an ambiguous technical problem, work out what needs building and get it into production.What they're looking forYou'll ideally have 2-8 years of software engineering experience, with strong production experience in C++ and/or Python.They'll particularly value:Low-level, real-time, embedded or systems programming experienceExperience owning core product or systems workBackgrounds in robotics, autonomy, aerospace, automotive, defence-tech or other complex engineering environmentsEvidence you've built something independently, whether that's open source, a side project, hardware build or your own productA Bachelor's degree in an engineering disciplineExperience with safety-critical systems is useful. Aviation experience isn't required.
