The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain secure backend services and applications that support data protection and privacy-focused features. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing APIs, integrating databases, and collaborating with product and security teams to deliver reliable software solutions. The role also involves debugging and optimizing existing systems, participating in code reviews, and ensuring adherence to secure development practices. The Software Engineer will contribute to technical documentation and support ongoing improvements to architecture and performance.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, or similar).Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in production code.Knowledge of secure coding practices, privacy-by-design concepts, and basic cybersecurity principles.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and participate in code reviews.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
